Habitat:

Description:
Native perennial of medium
height (up to 50cm) with attractive deep purple flowers from May to
July. It has long been
cultivated as a garden plant and many cultivars have been bred from it.
Sowing Instructions for Seeds:
For best results sow in late winter in coldframe. Prick out into
pots and plant out in late spring or early summer.
May be slow to germinate.
