Oxygenator late March to September only Late spring/early summer is usually considered the best time to establish marginal and oxygenating plants when the temperature is rising - they will establish more quickly and successfully then. Oxygenators are very important in helping to control algae; their underwater leaves absorb minerals & carbon dioxide which helps to starve the algae. See Information and Advice pages on Blanket Weed & Algae Control. This collection consists of 4 varieties of pond oxygenating plants which are native to the UK. The collection will be selected from the best quality plants available at the time of your order - on rare occasions you may receive only one or two varieties, in which case we will increase the number of plants supplied.
