Other Names:  Queen Anne's Lace, Keck, Wild Parsley, Adder's Meat, Devil's Meat, Bad Man's Oatmeal

Distribution:  A native British wild flower, which is fairly common throughout Britain.

Habitat:  It thrives in hedges, wood edges and beside lanes in semi-shade.

Description:  Biennial/Perennial.  Tall plant with large quantities of frothy, white flowers from April to June.

Wildlife:  It is a rich source of nectar for hoverflies and honey bees.  

Sowing Instructions for Seeds:  For best results, sow seed in spring in the final flowering position.
