Distribution:  A native British wild flower, which is fairly common throughout Britain.
Habitat:  Found in woods and hedgerows, but grows well in sunny or partly shaded sites.
Description:  Native perennial of medium height with white star-shaped flowers from May to August.  In the wild, the plant often uses other plants such as grasses for support.
Wildlife:  Food plant of the Lychnis  Moth.

Sowing Instructions for Seeds for Best Results:  Sow seed in spring in a greenhouse or cold frame. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into individual pots.  Plant the seedlings out into their final position in summer.

Our plants and seeds are of native British origin.
